Thrift Stores
With four area locations—Dellwood, Ballwin, St. Charles and South Kingshighway in St. Louis—shoppers have the opportunity to choose from a large selection of quality used clothing, furniture, household items, books and new mattresses. Our regular customers include everyone from those who are poor & needy and have little means of support to other customers who are “shopping down” in this tough economy, all who find great prices on needed clothing, furniture, household items, books and new and re-manufactured mattresses.

Clothing, Furniture & New Mattress Program
Not only do our thrift stores help us raise money through sales to the public, they also serve as an important clothing, furniture and new mattress resource. Our Thrift Stores use a voucher system to serve clients referred by individual Parish Conferences. The vouchers are issued to Parish Conferences by the Conference Support Team at the Council Office. When the client presents a voucher at the store, they are entitled to purchase furniture and clothing free of charge up to the amount written on the voucher.
- Our four thrift stores served over 220,000 people during 2011!
- We sold over 1,000,000 units of value priced merchandise to our customers
- In partnership with our parish SVDP conferences we gave away over $160,000 worth of free merchandise to those in need
- We initiated a recycling program to add to our revenue and be more responsible with all of our donated products. We recycled more than 350,000 pounds of unsalable goods in 2011
